Spatial Distribution Changes in Nature-Based Recreation Service Supply from 2008 to 2018 in Shanghai, China

Nature-based recreation has become an important activity in contemporary society and a key component of cultural ecosystem services. Although the methods mapping outdoor supply have been gradually improved, few studies carried out multi-temporal evaluations. Based on land use/land cover (LULC), POI, other web-open data, we mapped recreational service Shanghai 2008 2018, combining potential opportunities. We first selected evaluation indicators, using LULC to measure potential, POI density accessibility Then, used principal analysis (PCA) determine weights 12 factors that opportunities, made RO RP maps, respectively. Finally, overlaid maps obtain spatial distribution map supply. Our results showed services 2018 presented “V-shaped” gradient along city center areas—the peri-urban rural areas.
